I snapped like a twig.
It can be said that I am a Facebook addict. I keep it up on my desktop throughout the day and also check it on my phone while waiting in a line or when I'm out and about and bored (read: am not stimulated in a 100 different ways. I have no idea when my attention span became so short).
Facebook has been making me itchy for a couple of weeks now, but I got so angry on Tuesday that I knew I needed to step away from the blue and white. (The last time I got that mad at the people in my FB stream, I started deleting friends with wild abandon. This resulted in some strange after effects.)
My resolve may not last through the weekend or I may never log in again. But I'm hoping this break will give me some perspective and help me break a bad habit.
I struggled with a creative idea for a baby announcement for Pigtail. I ended up with just a classic letterpress, but these announcements made me want to do something a little more original if and when there is a next time. (My Right Brain)
This is a pretty incredible before & after den remodel, especially considering it's all cosmetic. (Hooked on Houses)
My friend Whitney is doing a walk down memory lane to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her mom's dance studio. If you're from anywhere near my hometown - or just enjoy a good dance recital - you mind want to check out some of these dance pictures. (Dancing Through Life)
This so hit me in the gut, that I'm tempted to write a personal response to it. But I probably won't, because she says it so well. This post is the best thing I've read this week. (Breed 'Em And Weep)
Happy weekend, HH readers!
