I promised you new house pictures. I wanted to be able to show you unpacked, orderly, peaceful new rooms. But, well. That goal might have been a little lofty.
Instead, I'm going to show you a few of the rooms the way they looked just before move-in day. I personally like to see empty rooms anyway. Later I'll show you pictures of the house when it was purchased, then after our stuff has cluttered it up. Things might be a little house heavy over the next couple of weeks.
(Side note: many of the homes we looked at before we purchased this one were staged. I know this is popular and helps to sell the home - in fact, we are staging our old home to sell - but I much prefer to look at empty homes. They're like a blank canvas!)

I can't wait to show you the rooms filled and decorated. Things are slowly falling into place and we're really happy with the results. We'll be showing it off this weekend to a few friends.
