The kind of thing that makes me giggle is that last week's Friday Links had a title that made no sense to you, dear readers, and no one called me out on it. Surely at least one of you scratched your head over "tender teeth." In an original draft of the post I mentioned my toothaches, but then I erased it.
The story is that I had dental surgery last Friday and then again yesterday. Which just means that I'm swollen, loopy, and hungry for now. I should be good as new in no time!
Now, no one is more surprised than I am to post self-portraits two days in a row, but these outtakes from the hot roller post are making me strangely happy. Is it the pain meds? Possibly.
These photos were taken Tuesday morning in our messy master bedroom. The baby is still in her pajamas, I'm trying to wrap up some blog pictures, and my husband is late for work. It's a reminder to keep your camera handy because you never know when the sweetest family moments will pop up.
I think I'm going to frame it really small for my bedside table. A happiness reminder.
