At my Los Angeles bridal shower in 2007, I received a thoughtful and personalized gift from my friend Sarah, who happens to be a costume designer.
It was a bridal emergency kit full of the essentials. There was Topstick tape, thread, tissues, band aids, lotion and more.
For any conceivable kink in my big day, there was some sort of fixit in the kit. Not to mention that it was put together with love.
She lined the whole thing with pink felt and white lace that matched the top decal. It was such a special gift and that I've kept and used several years later.
This would make a fun gift for a girlfriend for any kind of occasion, it doesn't have to be bridal specific. Maybe for a friend who travels a lot or something to keep in their desk at the office or even a car kit for the mom-on-the-go.
