Last weekend when we were in San Francisco, I was scrolling through the Pay-Per-View when I noticed that two of The Gorilla's movies were offered, this one in the HD/Comedy section and this documentary in the drama section.
The Gorilla shrugged his shoulders and kept eating his room service dinner, but I remember a time not too long ago when I never would have believed I'd have anything to do with the movies on my hotel television.

Weekend reading:
I can be as guilty of the next person of escaping into social media, and this year more than ever I've noticed people giving up online addictions for Lent. If you're trying to reshape the way you interact online, read 10 Mindful Ways to Use Social Media. I especially liked "Experience now, share later." (Tricycle)
This will probably only be interesting to you if you're a Lakers fan, or perhaps family business-minded. Since our household bleeds purple and gold, I've become interested in the Buss family. In this video, Jeanie Buss (daughter of the Lakers owner Gary Buss and EVP of the Lakers herself, also the long-time girlfriend of Lakers coach Phil Jackson) dishes on the family business. (Fox News)
What I'm watching right now: 1. Celebrity Apprentice. (Oh my word, did anyone else see this premiere? I'd never watched the show before, but was drawn into this one by the cast.) 2. This week's Glee was so disappointing to me. I felt that the message was bad. Abstinence = stupid and nerdy? If it wasn't clear before, this show is not for children or even teenagers. 3. The final season of Big Love. I have loved this show from the very first episode, for so many reasons. It's gone one and off the rails throughout the years, but this season is gut-wrenching for me. I love where they're taking Barb. (But don't give me any spoilers! I'm about two episodes behind, I think.) Are you watching any of those shows? Any thoughts?
Y'all know I'm a sucker for a stop motion video. Organizing the Bookcase.
And finally, this was the best thing I read this week: Snapshots From a Rock-N-Roll Marriage. (Salon)
