I went to Vegas last weekend with my college girlfriends on our annual spring girls trip. Go ahead and try to avoid Vegas if you're pregnant. It will drain your already non-existent energy.
Oh, I had fun, mind you. Lounging by the pool, sleeping in a cushy bed, eating fantastic food, what's not to love? But I feel like my asleep-by-11pm pregnant-ness kept me from some of the best memories of the trip, which seemed to have happened late night.
There is no late night for me and the belly. But speaking of cushy beds:
This was our room at The Cosmopolitan. It was very comfortable, very nicely done.
We found this Louis Vuitton-inspired dresser charming.
And the inclusion of binoculars in the mini-bar disturbing.

For your weekend reading pleasure:
I read The War of Art late at night several years ago while sleeping in a twin bed with a hot pink silk comforter that kept slipping off. It was a weird time. Steven Pressfield has a new book out called Do the Work
(the Kindle edition is currently free!) and did an interview here that I found interesting. (Jeff Goins Writer)
I am struggling in the photography department. I want to take better pictures for my family and for this blog, but I lack the patience or skill to make it happen. But, like cooking, I still enjoy reading about it. This is a great tutorial: Studio Quality Product Photography with a $12 Set Up. (Handmade Spark)
After I posted pictures of my office last week, I stumbled upon this home office remodel that is AMAZING and cost her under $1000 for a dramatic change. (Centsational Girl)
I found the blog Sugar and Charm through Pinterest and I am in love with her style and entertaining tips. One of the things I especially liked was this Enamel Painted Vases tutorial. Wow, do I have a lot of extra plain vases floated around that could benefit from this treatment. (Sugar and Charm)
Everytime my friends over at LoveFeast write about their friendship, it makes me tear up. Every time. Muddle Puddle Friends. (LoveFeast Table)

I plan to take some much-needed rest over the next couple of days. What about you?
