Sometimes Mommy Mondays bleed into Tuesdays.
Thank you Old Navy for sponsoring my post today about baby and toddler styles. Old Navy is giving you 30% off everything in their baby and toddler summer collection, plus get an additional 15% off in-store.
I haven't done a fashion retrospective on Pigtail since she was nine months old, but believe me that she has been rockin' the toddler look daily.
Since she was born, leggings have been a staple. I love them because they're fun and go with almost anything, but I especially love leggings because they make changing a diaper so much easier than wrestling with pants.
If I'm perfectly honest, we also spend lots of days in our pajamas. Especially this winter, when the days were chilly and my early pregnancy kept me homebound.
I'm constantly amazed at how quickly Pigtail grows out of her clothes. I feel like I have to do a clean sweep of the closet and dresser every few weeks to weed out the threads that are too tight or too short.
This means that I'm not inclined to spend a ton of money on her clothes. I seek out sales from my favorite stores, and share with friends and family. Recently a friend at music class recommended shopping for toddler clothes online, which I admit sounds nice. Especially since you can find great deals and "fit" is less of a problem at this stage.
Now that the weather is warmer and we're spending even more time outside, I'm leaning towards putting Pigtail in play clothes - shorts and a tee or one piece jumpsuits - rather than in cute dresses. They're just more conducive to climbing and falling and jumping.
Here are a few of the things I'm eyeing at the Old Navy sale:
Cute, huh? The bubble shorts in particular just look like Pigtail to me, my little 18-month-old fashionista.
What about you? Where do you find your kids clothes?
