My mom has been working on a darling little pink outfit for Pigtail. She brought the fabric with her to the lake. She bought it thirty plus years ago to make me a baby blanket. The blanket never got made, so now she's making my daughter something to wear.
You may recognize the sewing machine from this post, when I told you that she bought this relic from the 70's to keep at our home in Los Angeles, because it matches the one she has at her home. This is not the same machine. She hit up ebay again and had this one shipped to the lake. So in case you're keeping count, there are now three mint green Singer sewing machines in her possession. One on each coast, and one in Oklahoma.
This woman, I swear.

I've always been a note writer. When I see that someone has left a note on another person's windshield, I'm always curious about what it says. So this site is good for a browse and a smile. (Passive Agressive Notes)
I guess most of you already knew about this blog, but I just found it. I am in love with the pictures and the world Kelle Hampton is creating. Enjoying the Small Things. (can you get over her yellow swimsuit here?! I will never be so chic.)
I really debated whether or not to include this link. But it was the cake picture that put it over the top for me. It has to be shared. 12 of the World's Most Disturbing Wedding Photos.
If you're on Pinterest, you might have noticed just how many ways people use mason jars and empty bars. It's astounding, really. Here's a good summary: 27 Creative Uses for Jars and Recycled Bottles. (Denise in Bloom)
I have a sister. She is no longer married. This post really struck a nerve with me. (The Bobby Pin)
