In what is becoming sort of a tradition, these are my favorite Instagram pics from the week. I like them because they sort of sum up what my life is about right now: errands, preparation, and playing.
Meaning I'm running endless errands as we settle back into life in LA after weeks at the lake, I've fully embraced the "nesting" mode of this second pregnancy, and I'm acutely aware of the precious time I have left as a mother of one, and want to soak it all up with my daughter.
So to answer my own question from last week, I guess I'm in the middle, preparing for an end, after which will be a new beginning. Trippy, huh?

For your weekend reading pleasure:
Did I mention I'm into nesting? I liked this tutorial creating large paintings full of text (Alisa Burke) and using art to cover a big 'ole tv. (John's Journal)
Also, since I have this same wallpaper she uses (mine is part of our lake house decor), why wouldn't I use it make a wallpaper waste basket? (Chez Larsson)
Giving yourself permission to do something that you really should be doing anyway. Timely thoughts here. (MarytheKaytheBlog)
Oh, this made me laugh. Please don't click if easily offended. (Shauna Glenn)
For those who like the tech-ier links, I found Customizing Your Signature in Gmail to be useful. (Not Just Paper and Glue)
Lastly, related to my post this week about blog conferences, you might like There Totally Are Cliques At Blogher. (Backpacking Dad)

We have a busy but fun weekend planned - date night, lunch with girlfriends, trying out the airbrush spray tan (stay tuned for befores & afters).
