Today I am 37 weeks pregnant, officially full term. I alternate between WANTING THIS BABY OUT OF ME and OH MY WORD WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WHEN THIS BABY COMES. So right now, I find posts like this completely hilarious. I think I remember this toy. Why does it exist?! (Her New Deal)
Ryan Adams' two albums Heartbreaker and Gold define my first year of living in LA. Songs from those albums mean as much to me as any other music I can think of. Then his music changed for awhile, but his latest release is supposed to be among his very best. I really enjoyed his interview here, which creative - not just fans - might relate to: "Things Got Broken and I Couldn't Fix Them." (The Guardian)

We are in the midst of the whole Los Angeles preschool rigmarole, which makes me think about my own school experience and the education experiences in other parts of the country. We'll be plugging away at numerous house projects this weekend, while taking LOTS of breaks. And hopefully sneaking in a nap or three. This belly is no joke, folks.
