The day after Halloween, Pigtail and I sat outside in the warm sun. I polished off most of the leftover candy while she pretended to be a butterfly. Pirate was asleep just inside the french doors, rocking in the swing and occasionally squeaking.

For your weekend reading pleasure:
After my post about paper (with a brief complaint about what a pain Christmas cards are) my friend Alyson sent me this post about what to do with all the past Christmas cards you receive from friends and family and hate to throw away. I keep my favorites in a big box, but this makes much more sense. Simple and fun. (Close To My Art)
I read Lil Blue Boo, but hadn't checked in on her in awhile, so I was shocked when I saw this post about what she's been going through lately. It's too late to be included in their collection of notes going to Ashley, but consider posting a comment either there or on Lil Blue Boo sending love and encouragement her way. (Snap the Conference)
A few pep talks that I enjoyed this week: using a visualization board (should I try this? Anyone done it?) and I Suck At Photoshop (I really loved this). (Design Sponge and Lifehacker)
Such an awesome project: a very, very personalized duvet cover. Incredible. (A Thousand Words)
This is from several months ago, but it's just so true. You Know You Have A New Baby When (Extraordinary Ordinary)
