Well we're right in the thick of it, aren't we? I wrote this on the HH facebook page earlier this week:
So far, so good. Outside of a few moments of insanity, but who doesn't have those, right? I've inherited this awesome quality from my mom where when there is something large to be done (shopping, wrapping, and planning for Christmas), an unrelated and menial task must be started (organizing the junk drawer, sweeping out the garage). It makes stress more fun!

I have a folder in my bookmarks bar that contains everything that I save for Friday Links. Usually I use them that week, but sometimes I hold onto one and the weeks go by and it never gets used. By the end of the year I've accumulated quite a few of these, so here's a list of the Friday Links I meant to include along the way:
A pretty darn awesome baby shower. (Hostess with the Mostess)
An really interesting take on a Blogging 101 series - short questions and answers posted each week by a great panel of influential bloggers. (All Things Thrifty)
Attracted to the greek key pattern? Me, too. (Material Girls)
Another hair tutorial: How To Curl Your Hair With a Curling Iron (The Small Things)
Why You Need to Stop Blogging & Regain Your Writing Soul (Jeff Goins)
I Wish I Hadn't Said That (Jesus Creed)
A video of the letterpress process (Product by Process)
I have a warm spot for Joan Didion. Here's a short video of her talking about writing. (Maud Newton)
This is beyond creepy, but I can't stop looking. Chicks with Steve Buscemeyes.
Hey - a little self-promotion for my favorite guy. (Hollywood Reporter)

The next two weeks will be all about wrapping up the year and fresh starts. If you're not taking a holiday break from the computer, I hope you stop by to join in on the conversation.
Merry, Merry Christmas, dear HH readers. I wish you all the love and joy in the world this holiday season.
