Typepad was so happy with the response of the giveaway two weeks ago, that they've done something I've never in my two blogging years had a company do: They're giving something to all the non-winners!
To the first 70 people who take advantage of this offer, you'll get THREE MONTHS FREE when you sign up with Typepad. I've extolled the virtues of Typepad (and why I use them as my blogging platform) here. Just type in HOLLYWOODHOUSEWIFE in the referral code field to get your free 90 days.
I sent this offer last week via email to the entrants of the giveaway, but now I'm sharing it here for you, yes YOU, who wanted to enter but didn't.
So many people expressed on the giveaway post that they've been wanting to start a blog, and that winning would be "a sign" or "a kick in the pants." Consider this your kick. While I prefer Typepad for my own blog, I genuinely don't care if that's your platform or not. If you're interested in blogging for any reason - writing, creating, connecting, sharing - then I highly encourage you to try it. It's changed my life in so many ways.
And make sure you send me your URL once you get going. :)

Speaking of blogging, tomorrow I start telling a story. A few times a year I like to take a few days and tell one larger story than can fit in one post. I post two or three chapters a day, and it's over by the end of the week. (You can read my Moving to LA Story or my Love Story to get a taste of how it works.)
This time I let the FB fans pick the topic (if you're interested in being a FB fan, click "Like" on the HH FB page), and frankly, the one they picked is the one I'm most nervous about. Tomorrow I'll start telling the story of my faith. How it started, where it went, and where it is now.
I ask that you be gracious with such a sensitive topic, one that I don't usually discuss here at HH, but that I think is important to tell.
As with all my stories, I read each and every comment, but I don't respond to them. I want the stories to stand alone, and if there are lots of questions in the comments, then I assume I haven't done my job right.
Please join me starting tomorrow morning with Have Faith.
