I wish I could say something like, "I can't believe it's already March!" but I can believe it. 2012 has been packed full. I've already made a thousand memories with our jam-packed schedule.
In February, we have:
- had three sets of houseguests
- attended three parties
- flown to Vegas for Motley Crue
- flown to Nashville for Blissdom
Whew! It's been the wonderful kind of full.
If you can't tell, I am so not gifted at the self-portraits. I know how to set the self-timer...and then that's about it. If the camera doesn't fall over on its own, then I have no idea what to do with myself. The timer starts beeping and I freak out and suddenly look as unnatural as possible. A few outtakes from yesterday's post:
For your weekend reading pleasure:
I am as excited for GCB as I can ever remember being for a television show. I will watching it at rapt attention this weekend. I'm a huge Kristin Chenoweth fan (a fellow Oklahoma girl!) and this is my type of subject matter. I can't wait!
I did not read Dear Sugar prior to reading this article, but I still found it fascinating. For awhile, I toyed with blogging anonymously, but it just didn't make any sense for me. (New Yorker)
Of course I'm still playing around with ideas for my navy blue master bedroom (the most decoratively neglected room in the house), so I really liked looking through What the Vita's plan for her blue guest bedroom. I also loved that she used the Pages program to sketch it out. What hadn't I thought of that? (What the Vita)
If you were an HH facebook fan, you could have participated in my Oscar commentary (since I moved over there after I got stuck in twitter jail), heard about the homecooked meal I ruined, and found out my new favorite beauty discovery (an eyeshadow palette I'm convinced is perfect).
I was also over at Songs to Sing this week telling you My Favorite (and least favorite) Things About LA. Check it out.
As if February wasn't crazy enough, we've kicked off March with a short trip to St. Louis where my husband will be speaking at his alma mater. My parents are holding the fort down in LA with our kiddos, and I'll be sharing next week about our trip to Missouri.
Happy weekend, HH readers!
