Welcome to Mommy Mondays, the official day of the week when I dive into parenting topics. After last week's post on discipline, you'd think I'd only post pictures of unicorns and rainbows for this edition. So, sort of.
The nanny brought the kids a fish.
"What is that?!" I shrieked, upon returning to the house after errands and finding the thing wiggling in a flower vase.
"It's a fish," she says. "It's good for the house. It's like therapy."
We need therapy? Fish therapy?
Our nanny is like a member of our family. She knows the ins and out of our home, the dynamics of our relationships. And apparently, knowing this, she bought a fish.
For therapy.
I'm not sure if I should feel offended or grateful, but now his name is Mario and he's feng shui-ing up the house. Do I seem calmer?
