I did not think that I looked weird when I left the house wearing this earlier this week. I thought I looked perfectly presentable. Clever, even, incorporating a few winter items into the spring. But people stared at me all day. And not in appreciation. I kept looking down as if I had baby vomit down my clothes (which has been known to happen).

I didn't want to give in to the blue nail polish trend because I thought it really didn't look great against skin. It seemed Grown Woman Edgy (says the mom with pink hair). But anyway, you can see how I lasted holding out against the blue.

So I have an idea for a new {brag book} link up. Only this time we won't actually link up, that way everyone can play whether they have a blog or not.
Here's what you do you: You have one week to take a picture of yourself in your current favorite outfit for spring. Or just an outfit you like. Or possibly an outfit you took a risk on. Just take a picture of YOU in an outfit. Next week I'll provide a place for everyone to upload their pictures. Then we can browse, and brag on each other. And there will be prizes. Very pretty prizes. (But the prizes will be random, no "best" or voting or anything like that.)
Sound fun? The HH facebook friends thought so, and I do, too. As with the previous {brag book} games, this is just a chance for us to brag on ourselves in a way that we otherwise might not. If you don't have a blog, maybe you have nowhere to post how freakin' cute your new dress is. HH is a brag-full space. And my brag books are encouraging, no negativity.
