There are very few television shows that I have followed from the first episode to the last. This weekend Desperate Housewives ends their eight year run and I promise you I will cry. I've already blubbered once this season, when they killed a major character.
Desperate Housewives is far from a perfect series. It's been full of weird plot lines, and bizarre time jumps. But I've followed it all, the witty dialogue and campy portrayal of women and their friendships. For a series that starts off with a suicide, the show has always kept my attention.

This week I went to a preview of DC Shoes latest women's line and to eat at Culina in Beverly Hills. The DC Shoes event was so fun - I caught up with some other local bloggers - and Culina was so delicious, it's the kind of place you want to take visiting guests.
I had the sweet corn ravioli and bites of the rib eye and when I go back I want to try the short ribs. The next day, my friends and I were still talking about the food - even the bread! Put it on the list if you're local.

The funniest thing about the article Skateboarding Past A Mid Life Crisis is the picture of the 40-something guy at the top. He's dressed exactly like pretty much all of my husband's friends. And they didn't recently just pick up a skateboard, if you know what I mean.
