Have you heard of Glossybox? It's a beauty box subscription service. You pay a monthly subscription fee of $21 and each month a pretty pink box shows up with five new beauty products. Most of them are trial sized, but at least one of them is full sized.
For the beauty junkie, it's a great way to find and try new products, all high end. It would also make a really good gift for the product lover in your life, maybe a sister or friend?

If you were part of the HH facebook page, you could have helped me troubleshoot my Keurig coffee machine (why has it suddenly started pouring shorties?!), or chastized me for confusing everyone with my Father's Day Guift Guide.
Speaking of facebook, and of confusion, it has come to my attention that even if you have "liked" the HH page, you still may not be seeing all of my posts in your news stream. There are two ways to fix this:
1. Go to the HH facebook page. Hover your mouse over the "liked" button. Make sure "Show In News Feed" is selected.
OR
2. Go to the HH facebook page. "Like" or leave a comment on any one of the posts there. I'm not fishing for likes here, but if you've had some sort of interaction with the page, it tells facebook's algorithm that you want that content in your stream.

On a more exiting note, I'm headed to Charlotte, North Carolina next week for the Type A Conference. In fact, I'm an official blog partner of the conference, which I think just means I'm going to have a super time.
If you'll be at the conference, let me know so we can make sure and meet! Blog conferences tend to make me melt down in hotel rooms, but I always walk away better for the experience. Maybe it's a sign of maturity, or maybe I've just tucked two years of blogging under my belt, but I'm not ever nervous for Type A. I know there will be interesting people and things to learn and I'm really looking forward to it.

For your weekend reading pleasure:
I've slowly come to the realization that anything that must get done in the day, must get done in the morning. I hate this realization. Want Success? Fix Your Mornings. (Yahoo)
This is a friend of friend. He worked and MTV and then he left MTV. He made a video about it. I know a couple of people in the video, but I what I really liked about it was that he captured the feeling over there. I used to work at MTV. Then I left MTV. It's a time in my life that will stick with me always.
If you want a good chuckle to your day, you must go hit up Pinterest You Are Drunk. Even the name makes me giggle. (Thanks to Jen for that one.)
I really loved the honesty of this post from Cassie at Hi Sugarplum. Doing It All. Who Does???
My friend Nora (I posted about our friendship here) has a book coming out in July. In fact, I'm throwing her a book release party! Here's the website for Nora and for her book. I couldn't be more proud.
Lastly, my column at allParenting this week was about my deep and abiding love for wallpaper. I listed my current favorites and showed pictures of the wallpaper in my own home. If you like bold walls, you'll want to see this post.
