Last week I threw a little soiree for my dear friend Nora Zelevansky, whose debut novel Semi-Charmed Life hit bookstores this month.
The book is already getting such great buzz, from this article in the Los Angeles Times to this interview in Elle.
We had good food from the Vizzi truck (I'm a huge proponent of a food truck for a party, but when you don't have a kitchen, it's especially handy to have the food drive up...and then drive away), and wonderful sweets from Eat Sweets Pastry in Brentwood.
Look, I throw a lot of parties, and I have never in my life seen the sweets table so devoured. People loved the selections of tarts and cookies and truffles. Check 'em out here.
It was just such a special night. I'm so proud of Nora and this book and her career. She was an original founder of our book club, so to see her have a book that will be read by other book clubs is chest-puff-worthy.
You can buy Semi-Charmed Life by Nora Zelevansky here, find out more about Nora here, and like the facebook page here.

Why yes, yes this is the second book release party I've thrown in the past three months. You can read about the Spirit-Led Parenting book release party I hosted for Megan Tietz in Oklahoma in April.
