Last weekend we went to a lovely family wedding on the other side of the country.
There are four boys in this newly joined family. So of course it made sense that the wedding rings arrived via a remote controlled aircraft, equipped with an HD camera and shot all of our oohhs and ahhhs. It was pretty darn cool.
And someone refused to leave the dance floor. Long after most guests had departed and her momma's feet were tired, this one boogied the night away. It was remarkable, really.
This week on the HH facebook page, I showed you the copycat who wore the heart sweater from my About Me and which book I just pre-ordered.
I also asked a poll question about the political debates, but a strange number of people didn't answer it.
For your weekend reading pleasure:
If you're dabbling in the photography world, I highly suggest you use Ken Rockwell as a resource. I browse his site whenever I'm looking for easy to understand information. This week I upgraded my camera (after three and a half years of daily use, it was time), and a long chat at the camera store gave me the same information Ken did on his blog.
This is a very important political post. Very. It may affect your vote. (Lil Blue Boo) (Thanks to Nicole for sending that one.)
This was my favorite thing I read this week. The family story, the pictures of the home, it was all just good inspiration. (Design Mom)
Other places HH was featured this week:
A picture of my big 'ole pregant belly last year appeared in this post on Simple Design.
A picture of my closet appeared in my allParenting column 3 Tips for Closet Organization.
What are your plans for the weekend? I have book club and a nap on my agenda.
Happy weekend, HH readers!
