Natural introvert that I am, I spent a good portion of this week recovering from Alt Summit. I met so many amazing people at Alt, half of which I knew online and the other half that were new to me.
I'm pictured above with Gabby from Design Mom, Laura from Blog con Queso, Trina from La La Lovely, Courtney from A Thoughtful Place, Sarah from Ringo's Girl, Whitney from Whitney English. I also loved seeing my roommate Arianne from To Think is To Create, and Jessica from The Mom Creative.
It was music to my creative soul to spend time with these women. Nothing inspires me more. Not pictured, but happy to have made a connection with Kathleen (fellow Okie!), Kirsten from Simply Grove (she gave me amazing church advice), Promise Tangeman (blown away by her hair and style), and so many others. I'm still going through the business cards I collected, and I have a feeling that they will provide me with many, many future links.

This week on the HH facebook page we talked about the effects of taking facebook off my phone, what I mean when I press speed dial "home" on the same phone, and I quoted Seth Godin from a great interview I linked.
This week over at allParenting, I'm giving tips on how to Stay On Top Of Your Photo Storage. This is one I get asked about all the time, so if you're drowning in photos, check it out.

- Here's a video of two men experiencing labor contractions. This is long, but funny. Send it to your husbands. (Thought Catalogue)
- How to Blog: My Rules. (Incidentally, her book Dinner: A Love Story is on my To Read list.)
- Lies Writers Tell Themselves. I'm on board with all of these except the one about blogging. I bet the author has never had a post have 50,000+ page views in a single day like my friend Sarah Bessey did this week when she published I Am Damaged Goods at Deeper Story.
- Do your kids know your phone number yet? My daughter, though I'm sure she has the capacity to memorize it. Reading this story made me want to start singing it to her over and over, as a lullaby. (Checklist Mommy)
- Why are LA Places So Popular on Instagram? 'Cause it's awesome here? I'm just guessing. (LA Weekly)

We have houseguests this weekend, so we'll be entertaining and watching football. I'll probably make hamburgers. I'll probably get nostalgic about the first time I conceived, since it happened to be on Super Bowl Sunday.
Was that too much information?
Happy weekend!
