Wandering around in a neighborhood close to my house, searching for the heywood gourmet grilled cheese place, I came upon Clare Vivier. Not Clare herself, but her beautiful corner store in Silverlake. After we ate, I made The Gorilla load the kids up by himself while I did a lap through the accessories. I spent so much time that he started honking and texting.
So I went back the next day.
Her stuff is gorgeous. The leathers and suedes are so soft, and let's face it: I'm a sucker for a monogram. I bought a tote and a wallet for myself, and a couple of presents for others. It's my new favorite gift idea. I love all sizes of the clutches (like this striped one and this amazing foldover one).
I never know what to get men, but I think this duffle or monogrammed catch all would work for a fussy guy.
