UPDATE: The episode aired and was a huge success, setting a record for Animal Planet with 1.6 million viewers. That's a lot of people peeking into my laundry room. For more behinds the scenes, read Secrets Behind Our Episode of Tanked.
Our episode of Tanked airs tomorrow night, Friday March 22 at 9pm & 11pm E/P on Animal Planet.
We're the season premiere! This is obviously equal parts terrifying and thrilling. Terrifying because The Gorilla and I are not comfortable on camera, and I feel confident it shows. Thrilling because I've been waiting for seven months to show you the monstrous fish tank.
If you're new around this blog, let me fill you in briefly: My husband wanted a tank. I did not. Guess who won? I tell the whole story here.
The installation of the tank and shooting the show happened the week I returned home from visiting Sri Lanka with World Vision. It was probably the most surreal transition I've ever endured. But that's a story for another day.
Set your DVRs to record Tanked on Friday night! Once it airs, I'll post pictures and more details. I'm currently at the Blissdom blog conference in Dallas, so I'll be watching and tweeting from there. This should be fun!
(No Friday links this week as I'm traveling and appearing on fish shows.)
