We're flying home today after two great weeks in Oklahoma. It was a busy visit, but we're returning to the west coast feeling full of love and gratefulness for family and roots.
We capped off our time in my home state with a happy easter.
On Saturday we did our traditional egg decorating. With seven kids under seven, I thought it was going to be complete chaos. But it turned out fun and mellow (a minor miracle).
My mom whipped up these super cute easter aprons for the girls. This is the kind of thing that I could never do. Sewing machines scare me to death.
The girls loved wearing them, and I loved that they were all a little bit different.
Kinda like our eggs.
We're already missing our Oklahoma family - hundreds of memories were made this trip with cousin time galore. But I'm ready to be home and am so excited for some things happening in the next few weeks.
