**Bidding is now over! Thanks for playing!!**
The garage sale pre-sale round 1 was so fun this morning, I decided to add a few things. My clothes and shoes were the first to go (but the bidding is live until Friday!), so I mined the closet and pulled out a few more items that I thought you might like.
Remember: THIS IS FOR CHARITY. 100% of the proceeds go to Help One Now to fight human trafficking in Haiti. I saw this organization and their programs firsthand last month, and I'm all in.
Here's how it works:
1. If you want to buy an item, leave a message in the comments with the name of the item you want and what you'll pay (the items all have a price attached). You must use your valid email address when leaving a comment (it won't post publicly).
2. If you want an item that someone else has already claimed, you're welcome to offer a few bucks more for it by REPLYING TO THEIR COMMENT with the item's name and your price.
3. By Thursday evening I'll invoice each buyer via paypal using the email address you used when you left the comment. You'll have until Sunday to pay the invoice. I'll ship everything out on Monday. US shipping only. THIS IS NOT A TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION. I'll write one big check to Help One Now after the garage sale.
4. If something goes unclaimed here, it'll go in the garage sale on Saturday. Come!
This is a bright pink 100% silk summer dress. I bought this at a little boutique here in LA and I wore it to shoot a tv spot awhile ago. Amanda Uprichards makes some great silk dresses. This one is really similar to mine. And how cute is this silk maxi dress?! And in pink. Size medium, but runs a tiny bit small.
Barely worn, excellent condition Jeffrey Campbell suede peep-toe wedges. Very similar style here. And here's a laser cut version. These have a good style and are comfortable. I just never reach for them to wear, so I figure someone else might. Size 7 1/2 and truly like new.
First off, this was not an overly expensive piece of clothing. I think I got it at H&M and I think I paid around $60 for it. But it has sentimental value to me. I wore to the London premiere of The Gorilla's third movie and had a blast that night. I kept it to wear sometime later, but I just never have.
It's knit with great details. And it's a fun piece. It's not long enough to be a dress by itself, more like a tunic. So you'll have to wear leggings or something under it. It says it's a large, but it's clingy and runs small, so I call it a medium.
A classic pair of Kate Spade maroon patent heels. These were one of my first pair of nice shoes. I'd still wear them but they're too small now. Size 7. A little worn on the inside but the outside still looks great.
I wore this Vena Cava silk dress with cowboy boots to one of my very best friend's rehearsal dinner. I spent the whole night bawling like a baby. I mean I really almost had a nervous breakdown. That's a whole other story, though. Let's just say this dress has seen many emotions. 100% silk. Size 8.
A great basic pair of red patent Michael Kors round-toed heels. These are power shoes if there were. But like I said in the the round 1 post, I just dont' wear much red. I've worn these maybe twice? There is some weird aging on the leather inside (maybe from the glue or something, you can kind of see it in the picture), but the outside is pristeen. Size 7 1/2.
They're really similar to these, but I think the toe might be rounder? Or they may be the same.
This is an awesome vintage dress that I got at a thrift store that was always too small. There's no size inside, but I'm guessing it's a 2. It's navy blue, some sort of linen blend with white piping and details. No lining up top, but the skirt has a tulle underlay. Styled right, this could be DARLING.
That's it for now! This is so fun you guys. And it's all for a great cause. Good luck!
