This weekend is Mother's Day. Even though I've been a mom for a few years now, I'm still not always used to that title pertaining to me. When Mother's Day rolls around each spring, I always think of the maternal influences in my life. I've been lucky to have been so surrounded by strong women. My mom, my sister, Pru, friend's moms, women in my church. As I got older, I watched with awe as my friends became mothers, then mothers again. When I got married, I inherited a new set of strong women who have influenced me in their mothering. Hats off to all of these women, and to you, this Sunday.
